The Investment & Experience

Great photos don't happen by accident. They happen when your photographer knows exactly when to step in and when to disappear into the background, and has the eye to capture everything in between.

FAQ

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I'm based in Southern California and regularly travel to Northern California and the DFW area. I'm also available for destination weddings & sessions beyond those regions. Travel fees depend on location and are always communicated before you commit to anything.

What add-ons are available?

A few of the most popular options include engagement sessions, film photography, a second shooter, rehearsal dinner coverage, and additional coverage hours. Add-ons are outlined in your proposal and can be discussed during your consultation. Some of these are customizable based on the clients needs

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I've been taking photos since I could hold a camera. Ya know, those chunky camcorders we all had as kids? That was my starting point. I then bought my first camera at 14, shot my first wedding at 17, and never really looked back. I'm 28 now, so that's about 11 years of weddings and counting. Around 2019 and 2020 is when I really started taking it seriously and haven't slowed down since.

Can I order prints or albums through you?

I don't offer prints directly, but your gallery comes with a print release for personal use, meaning you're free to print with whoever works best for you. I always encourage clients to print their images. Whether it's a local shop, an online lab, or a custom album company, getting your photos off a screen and into your hands is worth it. Publication of any images requires collaboration and written permission.

How much is the retainer?

The retainer is 25% of your total package investment and is due at signing to officially hold your date/session. The exact amount is outlined in your contract.

Do I need a second shooter?

For most full wedding days, I recommend it. A second shooter allows me to be in two places at once, which matters most during getting ready, the ceremony, and any moments happening simultaneously. If your wedding is more intimate or your timeline is simple, one photographer may be plenty. I'll provide a recommendation based on your specific day.

Do you offer film photography?

Yes. Film is available as an add-on to any package. I can shoot on 35mm or on a film simulation camera, alongside my digital coverage, so the pair complement each other naturally. Film images have a distinct grain, tone, and timelessness that digital doesn't replicate. If you're drawn to that look, it's worth talking through. Rolls are sent to a professional lab for development and scanning, so turnaround on film images is separate from your main digital gallery.

What should we wear for our session?

I send all my clients a styling guide after booking. In general, I recommend coordinating without fully matching, wearing something you feel good in, and avoiding large logos or busy patterns. When in doubt, ask me, and I'm happy to provide suggestions.
